Huckletree is known for building bold, design-led workspaces for some of the UK’s most exciting scale-ups and start-ups. Their newest hub at 199 Bishopsgate brings that same creative spirit to the City, blending coworking, breakout zones and quiet booths across a high-footfall floorplate. We worked alongside our sister company, Modus, to deliver a complete furniture package tailored to support a fast-growing community with a love for colour, comfort and flexibility.

Pieces with Personality

Across work zones, lounges, and meeting rooms, each furniture piece was selected to strike a balance between standout design and everyday function. The soft seating was layered with expressive fabrics and confident colour choices, from houndstooth upholstery on timber-framed lounge chairs to vivid pink and blue finishes across Sancal and Hay pieces. In the teapoint area, we specified Rawside’s Cat High table, a B Corp-certified company with a sustainable edge, alongside bright green Pedrali chairs and Dupont stools from B&T Design in fresh, soft-toned upholstery.

Comfort, Character, and a Conscious Approach

The desk setup across each floor is clean and consistent, with Eggy Swivel chairs from Nowy Styl and white desking fitted with integrated power, cable trays and scalloped cut-outs to keep things tidy. In shared spaces, the palette is bolder, from recycled plastic stools and brightly upholstered sofas to MDD’s fully recyclable Ismo chair, specified in a soft blue for the back-of-house lounge. Every piece was chosen to reflect the energy of the space, with sustainability, simplicity, and day-to-day use in mind.
