Lotus’s new headquarters in Clerkenwell’s historic Ragged School is an expression of the brand’s legacy and innovation. Working alongside our sister company, Modus, we helped bring this vision to life through furniture. Each piece was chosen for its purpose, form, and integration with the heritage architecture and contemporary layout.

Form meets Function

Desking prioritises performance without compromising on aesthetics. The mesh-back Senator Ousby chairs upholstered in Kvadrat Canvas were selected for their ergonomic adaptability and are used consistently across all working levels. These pair with Rawside Hi-Lo height adjustable bench desks finished in super matt black, designed to support task-focused work with cable management systems and durable framing.

Meeting rooms vary in scale, and the furniture responds accordingly. Rawside Workaround and Icons of Denmark Woodstock tables provide flexible, cable-managed surfaces, supported by a variety of seating from Vitra DSR chairs in shell and upholstery finishes, to upholstered Icons of Denmark Arena chairs with four-star bases. Larger boardrooms introduce soft touch Ray tables by Brunner Ray, paired with mid-height executive Ray Soft chairs also from Brunner.

Encouraging Connection and Focus

Collaboration zones, quiet areas, and breakout lounges are defined by soft, inviting forms and tactile finishes. Upholstered Muuto Outline sofas and Aram Low Pad and Soft Pad armchairs create informal settings, while round recycled leather coffee tables by Icons of Denmark Spire add sustainable elegance. Flexible collaboration booths from Framery O and Framery Maggie offer acoustic privacy, while the library’s Modus Pearson Lloyd Edge High Back and Arper Kiik benches strike a balance between focus and comfort.

In breakout and teapoint spaces, black oak Icons of Denmark Katla dining chairs pair with sleek Rawside Café tables. Stools from Norr11 NY11, Hay Revolver, and Carl Hansen & Søn enhance higher tables and communal dining settings. In multifunctional rooms, Ocee Flake tables and Icons Sky stackable chairs support varied programming with power integration and mobility.
