We are super excited for Clerkenwell Design Week this year and hope to get to as many shows as possible! As well as showroom events you will be able to uncover immersive installations which can be found dotted along the exhibition route and beyond. We have gathered a 'must see' list of brands attending CDW.
NextGen Design Pavilion
CDW will once again, for the fifth time be collaborating with Scale Rule to present NextGen Design Pavilion. The installation can be found in the Garden of St James and focus' on the human impact on the earth highlighting the ever-growing responsibility to protect and future proof our environment. Perhaps this will spark some new and innovative sustainability ideas within the design industry.Delenimentum by Orticolario
This year CDW has expanded its installation route to Charterhouse Square to host the impressive Delenimentum installation. This is a very special installation being brought to London from the shores of Lake Como, Italy. We are especially excited for this as the installation piece itself is a scaled-up version of the mythical Adirondack Chair, we look forward to taking a seat and absorbing the surroundings from a different perspective.
Texaa Architectural and Acoustic Experience.
Working in the workplace design industry we know how important acoustics are and a lot of the furniture options we put forwards will consider acoustic benefit. Texaa have created an interactive experience where you can walk through two identically shaped but architecturally very different spaces which will highlight the importance of acoustics in architecture.
If you're in need of a break from the hustle and bustle of CDW then a visit to OnOffices' immersive plant installation is the place to go! This installation is a beautiful juxtaposition of a jungle oasis in the heart of the busy city and is a perfect opportunity to sit back and reflect upon the benefits that nature can bring to modern life… especially within the workplace!
