Platfform were selected to design and furnish international money transfer company Currencies Direct to the 45th floor of One Canada Square building. This incredible, iconic building located in the heart of Canary Wharf was a perfect location to create a stunning space to support the employees and also generate the ‘wow’ factor for its visitors. Collaboration and new ways of working were top of the agenda, which lent itself to a large open plan floorplate with breakout areas situated within the workstations. This allowed for more ad-hoc informal meetings allowing users to be more effective, creative and social in their working day. Furthermore the large main boardroom table accommodated senior management and provided the ‘wow’ factor for external clients. Platfform added value to the project by creating a working environment with bespoke furniture that was installed under a challenging schedule.
