Scope
We partnered with our sister company Modus, M&G, and Nuveen to deliver a refined workspace for McGill & Partners at 40 Leadenhall Street. The architectural vision by BDG Architects called for excellence in performance and presentation, a brief we answered through tailored furniture selections that blend design integrity with functional precision.
This was the first fit out in the newly constructed building, and coordination with Modus, BDG Architects, and WSP meant that every delivery, detail, and installation had to be flawless. Our contribution supported Modus’ STRIDE approach and upheld the technical standards required by both the client and the City of London.
Purposeful, Professional, Precise
Each product was selected to meet the demands of executive use, blending ergonomic performance with visual refinement. The Haiken Webb 2.0 ergonomic task chair was chosen for its synchronous mechanism, seat depth control, adjustable lumbar support, and 3D armrests, providing all-day comfort with a minimalist black finish. It sits at the heart of the executive suite, paired with the Senator Freeway Height Adjustable Workstation, a height-adjustable L-shaped configuration complete with black cable tray and riser, built for practical use without compromising on presence.
To support guest interactions, the scheme includes two styles of visitor seating: the Verco Flux chairs, upholstered in brown faux leather with polished bases for a classic boardroom feel, and MDD Baltic Soft Duo chairs in ‘Go Check’ upholstery, designed for quiet conversations and informal moments. The RAWSIDE Café round table serves as a shared point for meetings or collaboration, set in black with a white top to match the desk setup.
Comfort, Detail, and Delivery
The CEO suite is completed with the B&T DESIGN Rego lounge armchair, specified in soft New King fabric with anthracite legs, offering a comfortable space for moments of pause away from the desk. Additional SENATOR mobile pedestals on castors were included for day-to-day convenience and finished in white to tie back into the desk surfaces.
